Imperial War Museum North
We recently worked on a drama project with IWMN: Finding our First World War. Using the museums unique collections, Peoplescape enabled 120 children (primary and secondary) to create their own theatre experiences which were performed in the iconic IWMN building in April 2014. The event was part of the opening of From Street to Trench: A War that Shaped a Region, the largest ever exhibition created exploring the north west during the First World War. The devising workshops included applied theatre techniques, choral speaking, shadow puppetry and creative writing. Emily lead the project and facilitated the workshops. Matt Wardle and Steve Howe also facilitated workshops. Alison was a creative consultant.
