As part of the Manchester Children’s Book Festival, and supported by public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, we are pleased to present The Gingerbread Man, available to watch for free here! Devised for children in KS1 & early years, it has been warmly received by family audiences of all ages.
We are having a great time performing our new participatory show, The Magic Porridge Pot, in Manchester primary schools this winter, however many schools whom we’ve visited before are unable to have us in due to their ‘bubble’ arrangements.
We are known internationally for our innovative participatory theatre techniques: we’ve had to adapt these to record the performance however we hope that you will join in wherever you are watching.
[Thank you Newall Green Primary School for showing us how to be a gingerbread boat or bridge!]
There is a free resource pack available to download here.
If you’re watching in school please click on the Gingerbread Man below (he just has a couple of quick questions which you can answer anonymously before watching).

With thanks to Longsight Library (Manchester Libraries Service), Didsbury Cricket Club and BH&P for their support – you are ace!
